Studebaker Metals employs processes of the past to evoke the same quality you expect from 100+ years ago. All of the work is handmade using traditional tooling - hammers, anvils, torches, rolling mills, and more. Every piece is made, finished and packed right in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania workshop.
Started as a partnership in 2013, Studebaker has since grown into a small team of skilled craftspeople. At the core of the mission is creating space for people to make honestly good things. About half of the team members began as apprentices, learning the trade on the job and taking on more challenges as they progressed in their study. As a result, Studebaker Metals has evolved into a diverse team, each individual bringing a different lens, creative history and approach to the process... all made better because of each other.
